At Grand, we like to keep our shelves looking spic and span and fully-stocked for our guests. This week, we have a few new products to introduce that are sure to keep your hair healthy, happy, hydrated and looking amazing for Spring.
New to the R+Co family is CANDY STRIPE Prep + Detangling Spray. The first step in your at-home arsenal, CANDY STRIPE instantly detangles, nourishes, and preps your hair for your style. You can use it as a leave-in treatment spray for weightless hydration, or layer it under the rest of your styling regimen to prevent breakage, seal the hair cuticle, and protect from heat up to 450 degrees. Like all R+Co products, CANDY STRIPE is vegan, paraben-free, cruelty-free and gluten-free. This product is great for all hair types and maintenance levels!
Also new to R+Co is the thermal protection we’ve been waiting for: CHAIN MAIL. This fine mist spray is applied to dry hair to provide ultimate protection from direct heat from a curling or flat iron. CHAIN MAIL provides 450 degree heat protection, and offers a flexible hold with silky shine. It’s perfect for voluminous styles that will last all day and night! If you’re a frequent heat-styler who wants to protect your tresses, this one’s for you!
The R+Co shelves aren’t the only ones with some newbies. The Kérastase collection has introduced an entire new line: Premiere. This ultra-repairing family consists of a pre-shampoo treatment, shampoo, conditioner, deep conditioning mask, anti-frizz serum and intensive repair oil.Â
The Premiere line has technology that has been in development for ten years; it’s main purpose is to free your hair from calcium build up, returning hair to its premiere state. It also reconnects broken links between keratin chains, making it appropriate for all types of damaged hair.
There is a method to the Premiere line when using it at home. When using the full system, it can restore up to 99% of the hair’s original strength.
The first step is the CONCENTRÉ DÉCALCIFIANT ULTRA-RÉPARATEUR repairing pre-shampoo treatment. Featuring citric acid and gylicine, this treatment goes on wet hair before you shampoo to repair persistent damage and reinforce weakened hair bonds. This treatment stays on the hair for 5 minutes.
Second, layer BAIN DÉCALCIFIANT RÉPARATEUR repairing shampoo directly on top of the treatment. This gently removes calcium and strengthens the hair. Rinse thoroughly.
Next step, depending on your hair’s density, is to apply either the FONDANT FLUIDITÉ RÉPARATEUR repairing conditioner for the finer-haired folks, or the MASQUE FILLER RÉPARATEUR anti-breakage repairing hair mask for those with thicker tresses. The conditioner instantly restores hydration and won’t weigh fine hair types down, so it’s great for daily use. The mask uses peptide and glycine to deliver a heftier hit of hydration and smoothing for coarser hair types. Leave either on the hair for 5 minutes, then rinse.
Once you’re out of the shower, apply the next step: the SÉRUM FILLER FONDAMENTAL repairing anti-frizz serum. This luxurious serum repels humidity, protects hair from heat up to 450 degrees, and visibly reduces the appearance of split ends. This is the perfect pre-blow dry styler for ultimate protection and strength.
The final step in the Premiere system is the HUILE GLOSS RÉPARATRICE intensive shine repair oil. You can apply this to damp or dry hair, and use as a 450 degree heat protectant, or to nourish thirsty ends between salon visits. Dullness is gone with this immense shine.
