Today I’m gonna show you how to do the holiday headband wrap. You can also make it causal by choosing a more casual headband. And today I have prepped my hair with setting it in a one-inch iron. And first I sprayed it with a Dentelle hairspray to make it hold and last. Step one, to achieve this style, you want to take your headband and start by where your placement is in the front. Slide it down over your hair and get the desired volume that you’d like. I always like to turn around and take a look because this is how you want to perfect this before you move onto the next step.
And start with how you want your look to be here. I want to see some of my headband, so I’m not gonna wrap it up here. I’m gonna take it down a little bit further. Take your piece and wrap it around. Take your next piece of hair and keep wrapping. As I go, I’m gathering more hair to wrap around your headband. If you start to feel a slip in it, you can take one of the tighter bobby pins and secure your headband.
I stopped once I got down to my nape of the neck, and I’m gonna go over to the other side now. Again, I really like this headband and want to show it off for the holidays. I’m gonna expose that a little bit more by taking a small piece and wrapping it around right here. I like a little more volume so I’m gonna pull it up and take my next one. This hairstyle works best for shoulder length to collarbone because you’re not hiding too much hair. You can definitely do it with longer. And then what I would do with the longer hair is I just bunch it up in the back and start pinning it. I’m gonna hold my headband while I pull up more volume. Once I get the look that I’m going for, I use my finishing spray, the Laque Noire. And there’s your hairstyle for your holiday events from Grand Salon.
